Vier tieners, die aan het wandelen zijn door de bossen, ontmoeten een vreemde boswachter en een rare oude man. De oude man blijkt een wetenschapper te zijn die een mysterieus boek heeft gevonden, gebonden in mensenhuid, genaamd de Necronomicon. Wanneer hij eruit leest, roept hij demonsiche monsters op. De tieners, in het bezit van het boek, worden opgejaagt door de monsters, een demonische sekte en de boswachter.
